Now it is the time to ruin a memory from my youth, to send "The Little House in the Prarie" into oblivion,

Didn't go that bad. There is a little museum with three sections. One about the historic Laura Ingalls Wilder, one about the TV-Show and one about the living on the Frontier, around 1870. A little bit for everyone. Tip: one can have good and inexpensive breakfast at "Nellie's Cafe" and so I had. Just do not forget cash, card will not do.
